I have long dreamed about starting my own business. For many years, I didn’t feel confident enough to do so.
Recently I decided to tune out the negative voice in my head and stop being so afraid of failing. Working in the sports industry for most of my life, I have learned so much that I can apply to my own business now. I no longer want my fear of failure to hold me back.
A recent catalyst for me has been witnessing the tides changing for women in sports. The fear of failure has been replaced by a burning desire to create something impactful. If I truly invest in myself and my idea, then I believe it can grow. It won’t happen overnight, but I have such a passion and drive to see where I can go.
My dream, for as long as I can remember, has been to empower women and girls in sports. The sports industry has a history of being male-dominated. Women have been held back through limited resources. It is now time to invest in the development of women in sports.

The name “Title IX Marketing” holds a deep significance for women in sports. Title IX is a federal law enacted in 1972 that prohibits sex-based discrimination in educational programs and activities, including sports. It was a landmark legislation that opened doors for women in the sports space, leading to increased participation and athletic scholarships for female athletes. By naming the company after this pivotal law, I’m aiming to honor its legacy while actively working to extend its principles into my business practices.
